John Chapman: Brought up the boat racks, the boy scouts, plans for different types/styles. One for kayaks and one for canoes, maybe? Board discussion was finalized with the decision to wait and see what the boy scouts propose, and then amend if necessary.
Geese spraying will ensue, as is our normal spring protocol. Should we also spray on the South Shore?

Discussion about senior discount, and who is eligible and when
John: Insurance for Valentines Day dance, had always been handled by Bob Papp. Bob said he paid it, but Mike M said he was charged again. Felt that now we were overcharged, Julie will investigate and clear it up with Bob and Mike and the insurance company
Diving deck/ swim dock: Should we bring it into shore? Should we have some sort of mechanical goose deterrent on it? fencing? or just pull it in on spring cleanup day
Who knows how to do so? We should ask Jim Doggett, John will contact him
Mike and Chris have to go to the bank to be on the books as check signers, they will go on Saturday
Boy Scouts have asked for beach access to practice setting up tents. They will let us know when. Board unanimously agrees

What is our protocol for 2 requests on one day?
All parties must be in requested in writing, with a certain lead time, and dues must be paid in full
Regina: will compile and publish a list when dues are all in
What about people who apply, and then don’t join? Or don’t pay?
Maggy: some progress with Lifeguards, more are needed
Will talk to Mayor about road closure
How do we entice lifeguards to work at Sunset Lake and not swim clubs? Increase salary to at least minimum wage, keep incremental raises for senior lifeguards
Donna: We will have to pay for the water testing, will ensue on or about May 15, and lake and tap will be on one invoice Results of all testing will be posted in the glass case all season long
When do we de-winterize the clubhouse? Is the water filter replaced yet? ( Sean says he’s got it) Removal of previous filter was mishandled

Maggy:
Abuse of grounds at parties by members: A member’s party blocked the road making it impassable for emergency vehicles, there were too many attendees, too many cars, too much mess the next day , too many guests the next day, should have had another lifeguard paid by that member.
We need a check list. We need specified limits on number of attendees, area of occupancy, duration of party, etc. We need the grounds checked before and after, and if not compliant, they lose the deposit Also should be put on website calendar
Absenteeism by board members at meetings, ByLaws say only 3
